Instead, today we begin harvesting Williams pears, one of the most popular and best-known varieties.<\/p>\n<p>Among all our pears, the Williams variety is the only one to have a close link with noble England: indeed, this fruit originated in northern Europe, but over time spread to Italy as well, finding a favourable environment for growth, especially in the Po River Plain.<\/p>\n<p>Williams pears, with their juicy and refreshing pulp, are perfect for eating and for preparing fruit juices, or even for inventing gourmet combos like pears and cheese.
